Many worlds yet one family
Each tiny flower's song we sing
We laugh with each little brook and stream
Helping each other on the path ignored
Joyfully running on the trail unseen
Our song will float and ring
With harmonies true and clear
Like dew on a mountain majesty
The melodies will touch your ear
No boundaries, no judgement
We express without fear
Silence is impossible
When this passion
Sets our hearts afire
Let us spread the fire's light
On this magical autumn night
Each stanza of the above poem was used to introduce a choir at my school's first fall concert. Profe (a.k.a. Brian Gonzales, choir instructor, Spanish teacher) asked me to write and recite it.
Awesome, huh.
